Welcome to School of Rock Bella Vista! Thank you for entrusting your child’s musical education to us. We truly feel we have the best jobs in the world! This document explains our policies on payment, lessons, rehearsals, and provides information about how to contact us.
Please read it carefully and keep it for future reference.

The Fine Print

BILLING:
  • All bills must be paid on the 1st of the month in advance, either via Direct Debit or from a Credit/ Debit Card.
  • Cash payments will require a BOND of 1 month.
  • Monthly membership is based on a 50-week year.
  • Fees for missed lessons in one month cannot be credited to the following month.
  • Any issues with an invoice must be discussed before the month commences.
  • Fees due for more than 30 days will incur a $35 Late Fee.
  • Direct debit dishonours will incur a $10 dishonour fee.
CANCELLATIONS AND MAKE-UP LESSONS:
  • If possible, please let the teacher know when the student will be away at the start of the season.
  • All cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours' notice, either via email or phone message.
  • If there are less than 24 hours of notice for cancellations lesson fees will be forfeited, except in extreme circumstances (e.g. illness or injury requiring hospitalisation, death in the family). Proof must be provided (e.g. medical certificate).
  • A maximum of two make-up lessons per month will be allowed due to the student’s absence if the school has been notified in advance.
  • A maximum of two make-up lessons per month will be allowed due to the teacher’s absence. If a teacher is absent for a longer time, a substitute teacher will be provided.
  • Should the regular teacher be unavailable, we reserve the right to find a substitute teacher for the student.
  • Make-up lessons must be completed in the following 6 weeks at the latest.
  • If students have missed lessons and make-up lessons cannot be arranged with their teacher, they have the option of doing their make-up lessons with a substitute teacher.
  • Make-Up Lessons cannot be credited towards monthly memberships 

    GROUP CLASSES

    • No refund will be provided for any missed classes.
    • Group classes will always go ahead regardless of which students are away.
    • Group classes will go ahead if the regular teacher is away and a substitute teacher will be provided.
    MEMBERSHIPS ON HOLD:
  • Memberships can be placed on HOLD for a minimum of 1 month to a maximum of 3 months.
  • Students on hold may keep their allotted time slot for an ON HOLD Fee of $50
  • Students must contact the school within 2 weeks of returning to re-confirm their time slot.
  • Membership cancellation during a hold period will reinstate the membership and the 30 days notice period will commence.

  • MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION
  • 30 days' notice is required to cancel a membership.
  • Fees will not be prorated during the cancellation period.
  • Access to the School of Rock Method App will cease after the cancellation date
  • Students can attend all scheduled lessons or rehearsals up to and including the cancellation date.
